| ok guys what do u think? Personally i would love nothing more than to have capcom remake resident evil 2 and 3. I know that the new wii game is supposed to be based close to re2 but i mean a full hard core remake like the Re1 remake for GC. |

| Yeah, a remake for the Wii would be gross. But I'd only want a remake if they could do it as well as the RE1 remake. Also, only if they have an overflow of resources and need something for the crew to work on. | Only if they do it as a full REmake style remake, and for the real consoles not some Wii crap. |

| Th Wii is technically not a bad console....it just doesn't have the creators making full use of it...that aside though i'm afraid to say that the Wii will die a sudden death along with the PS3 once Narato is released. |

Ha! Don't make me laugh. Technically speaking, the Wii is just terrible. It is almost completely useless to the normal gaming crowd and only markets well to children, non-gamers, and old people. I think developers have done about all they really can with it. The only thing it has going for itself is the motion sensing gimmick, which really doesn't work too well either. It will look utterly obsolete soon anyway with the PS3's SixthSense and the 360's Natal on the way. RE5's producer even said that the title screen for RE5 wasn't possible on the Wii. Proof. <---Click please. 
By Narato do you mean Naruto? The day that something as mundane as Naruto kills off the PS3 is the day that I quit these forums after telling everyone that I wear pink skivvies and dance ballet...with a sparkly sash. The PS3 has so much more going for it than the 360 could ever hope for. Bluray, wireless everything, great exclusives out the ass (Uncharted 2 anyone? No? God of War 3? The Agency? GT5? ect, ect...), web browsing capabilities (Yes, I've responded on here with my PS3 before), the PSN which is equal to Live now and will probably surpass it soon, reliable hardware, the list goes on.

With the Wii, the biggest issue i have with it is that its based around a gimmick and marketed at the casual crowd instead of the people who made Nintendo a success in the first place. I can count the number of real games on one hand, the rest is just a bunch of minigames aimed at grandparents, mothers and the obese looking to get fit without doing any real work. So not a Wii fan i'm afraid. The only time i will purchase one is when my Gamecube finally wears out.

One game will never win the console war, no matter how good it is. As for the PS3 it may be technically better than the 360 but Sony have squandered their superior technology by pricing the darn thing too high. So instead of buying one good console, people are buying multiple 360's instead.
I myself own a 360, because i couldnt afford a PS3 and i prefer exclusives like Gears of War and Mass Effect to the PS3 exclusives (except for MGS4, which i would gladly kill Bill Gates to get hold of), but even i recognise the PS3 as the better made console.
To get back on topic, a Wii remake of the Resi games couldnt do the games justice. Relying on the Wii-mote to control gameplay wouldnt work, and graphically the 360 and PS3 can produce far, far better results. |

Considering how much the PS3 takes to make, it's probably priced very reasonably. Sony knows how much the price holds potential consumers back, so they are doing anything they can to get its price down. Economically speaking, they would be horrid businesspeople not to. It's already gone down in price a few times and it is rumored that another drop is on the way. But still, the 360 is more expensive in the long run. Price of the console, Live/year, buying the inevitable cooler, repairing it after the inevitable RRoD. Those last two are maybes but Live does add up. The way I look at it is the cheaper something is, the more expensive it is. But if you like the MS exclusives better then I respect that because that is an actual reason to get the 360. Most 360 owners say they bought it because it is an "American" machine, or that it is cheaper, or that it "OMGPWNSPS3WITHL337HAX!!!" I would like to get my Sony hands on Fable 2 and L4D though. Also, did you know the PS3 is getting Mass Effect 2? And Dead Rising 2. (Both of which make me pretty happy. Given im from England, i dont think i will ever say that we should all be buying 360's because they are american  . When it comes to the relative costs, replacing the 360 is of course more expensive in the long run, but the average consumer doesnt think about the long run. Given the choice of a £150 console or a £300 console, which largely share the same games, most will go for the cheaper option, even if they have to buy another one a couple of years later.
Oh and Fable 2 is massively overrated, you arent missing much. Mass Effect 2 has been confirmed as not being released on PS3, which is a shame for every PS3 owner since you will be missing out on one the best RPG's ever made. Hopefully it will a limited exclusive deal, so it will be released a year later or something. Everyone should play that game, and the original. |

R U SRS???!!! Man, last I heard we were getting ME2. I need to catch up on the news a bit. I guess MS figured it was worth paying a bit of dough for huh? Good decision. Do you like Fable 1 or 2 better? I loved the first, but it was just too short. And you are totally right about consumers thinking only about the short run far too often. I always try to think in the long run because as a working class individual, I can't afford to lose in an investment. Unfortunately, us Americans here are pretty bad about it. Why do you think they call us the disposable society? | Well i happen to think the best fun you can have on a console when drunk is on the Wii so it gets my vote for that...graphics aside it has just this second gone off the market for me upon seeing the remade version of Silent Hill....i now hate the Wii and yes my opinions can change in an instant...it is however still great fun for drunken nights with ya mates. I don't know why the hell i keep saying Naruto when i mean Natal....for some reason it's stuck in my head. Fable 1 and 2 both suck....relative gameplay is boring...bring back Knights Of The Old Republic...remade or brand new...god i loved them. The PS3 is hugely OVER RATED....i for one cannot stand Sony, they act like they own the market and there is not one single game out on that console that would ever make me consider buying it. Ok it has BlueRay but hell i can pick up one pf those players over here for £100so to me it offers very little if not nothing for my gaming needs that i cannot get from my trusty 360....can ya tell i'm a Microsoft gal  |

| knights of the old republic, now thats a game we need a new version of, i spent hours on both those games, awesome, as much as i enjoyed fable 2, it was kinda easy |

| Oh yes the many hours that game could devour off you.....i too spent hours creating my Jedi, loved being able to choose between going to the Jedi side or the Sith side....once in KOTOR 1 i came across a woman who had developed an very unhealthy obsession with her droid so i said i'd go looking for it and when i found it i killed it...well what can i say she was getting a little too over friendly and needed to get into the real world ha ha ha ha. |
