Ok, so I've beat Resident Evil 5 a few times or whatever and now I'm going through Professional mode 'cuz I think I'm up for it. I'm trodding through the village, S&W 500 pulled, about to be ganked by the seemingly endless flood of Majini soon after discovering that the towns people are wacko and I walk into it, the cut scene comes up, woot, more Majini, let's run. So, I run to just before the door you enter that Sheva turns around and bars shut right after you into it, to pop off a few shots at our pursuers, I sit there, poised, waiting for a minute or so, knowing that this is a safe spot, waiting on the attackers to come around the corner, when all of a sudden, Chris is reeling backwards and has taken damage. I swing the camera around, searching for the attacker and all I see is a chicken, flapping its wings, fleeing in terror. No enemies in sight. Has anybody else had any encounters with these fiends or is it just me?

lolololol. Yep. The chickens can attack. They do decent damage too! I would have rofled if it would have killed you!

Just checking, thanks for the info. It threw me off for a second. Yeah, it took away 1/4 of my health, it sucked. I blew it up. Fried chicken anyone?

Ah here be that same thread...yes i have encountered it and mine damn well killed me...i was at max health too...one hit took half my health and when i tred to shoot the little git it jumped and killed me...death by chicken...i am now gonna o n a vengence mission...chickens must die lol

lol. They day the game came out I was playing with my friend and we got to the marshlands. In one of the little villages there was a bunch of chickens and so I decided it would be oh so fun to knife one. I finally knifed one and killed it and it gave me the "kill 5 enemies with a knife" trophy. Yes, I got the trophy from a chicken lol.

I did...and I didn't move. I'm brave. Yay for 3rd play through. I didn't care. Plus, the alcohol doesn't help reaction times.

Killer chickens...(lol Zombie chickens)...Capcom must be running out of ideas.

It seems like the rotten eggs are a one hit ko to normal enemies
I just happened to notice when I was throwing one out of my inventory xD
