I think RE5's location, overall, wouldn't allow for it to be too much like LIN.
I love the original RE5's locale, the village area, it looked pretty scary. The stuff from the very first teaser, and the Extended Trailer from 07', they really made RE5 look like it was going to be scary as shit, instead, we got Sheva, among other things that contributed to undesirable moments in RE5... |
No doubt RE5's atmosphere was a very interesting addition to the series but I think I would have enjoyed a darker more umbrella centered story more, and if we are forced to have a partner, who better than miss Valentine? |
What about the Underground Garden and the lab that ensued? Lickers even.
I loved that part of the game, mainly for the files you find everywhere, especially the ones from Brandon Bailey, and the ones regarding Marcus.
Sheva has got to be the most undeserving, and even most hated, character in the series...what a mistake on Capcom's part to give her such a role. | RE5 is a very good game buts its not as good as RE4 that I can say for sure. RE4 was incredibly freash and enjoyable. I'd say RE1 anRE4 are my favourite RE games. |
