RE 5 is just a copy paste of RE 4 !!!! |
False. |
We get it, you hate Leon and have a crush on Chris.
It is a copy paste in gameplay. There are a few new things and a different story. Just like Resident Evil 2 was a copy of 1. Games that are really big hits tend to have extremely similar sequels to make sure the fans are happy. |

| Resident Evil 4 takes it for me. While I really liked 5, I love how the 4th had such a baddass feel. Leon was there to do a mission and was never gonna stop until they killed him. Chris was kind of like that but RE5 just seemed a little not baddass. I also like the ''over the top'' feeling that RE4 had, RE5 seemed to lack that for some reason. Though in all Dead Space beats both in my opinion, but I still voted for 4. |

| I don't think RE5 was better because I hate Leon. It's better because it does EVERYTHING RE4 does and does it better. Just because the 5 has the same gameplay from 4 doesn't mean 5 is bad. That's just dumb. 5 Even has a MUCH better story. Better music. Better voicing, at least the same quality. More weapons and upgrades. Better mercs. Online coop and versus. Better files and backstory info. And the epic 5-3 boss fight with Jill and Wesker and to me, an extremely emotional fight with Jill to get the injector off of her. I think the best music in the game is during that scene and compliments it very well.
Don't double post. Use the edit button in the top right. And survival horror is not about feeling badass. It should be the opposite. Though I felt much more secure and "badass" in 5 with my M500/Hydra combo plus the better melee mechanics. And the only over the top thing about 4 was the Salazar statue. But that was just dumb. Everything in 5 was over the top in a good way. Even Irving was an over the top eccentric. _________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |

I agree on the music thing. I just was sad to see less dodge actions in the 5th. Also it did not have a scene like the knife fight in 4.
Also the 5th game seemed shorter than the 4th.
Plus 5 had less puzzles to solve than 4, It also lacked the mysterious feeling that 4 had. In 5 I knew exactly who the enemy was and where I was going. It just felt a little predictable
Right sorry. |

I dunno about length, been a while since I played 4. I think we figured once that 5 was a bit shorter. I think the knife fight in 4 was great, but the lack of control made it meh after the first time. I much prefer the 5-3 fight with Wesker. Both 4 and 5 need more puzzles, like the old games had. Also, I feel 4 was more predictable because the story has been done to death already. Agent must save president's daughter. How unique...[/sarcasm] At least in 5, you didn't know whether Wesker would die, or escape again. And of course we didn't know who the bird mask lady was, though many suspected Jill. I think even more suspected Sherry._________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |

Yeah the puzzles in the earlier games are much better. But 5 had no puzzles, 4 had some. |

| You can count the sun lazer thing with the mirrors a puzzle. And even pulling the things to make the stairs change. _________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |

HAHAHA! I guess your right. I should say hard puzzles, but the ones in 4 were not really hard either. |

| Then Terminator 2 is just a copy/paste of Terminator 1. Yeah...try spouting that off at any Scifi convention. You'll be shot. _________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |

It was.
RE2 was a copy paste of 1, that does not mean it was not good. |

The fun is to argue to see which would win. It would be boring if we all agreed. |
