| I go with re5 because I could see myself as chris pretty easily and that helped along with IMO more exciting combat and a good, in absolutely no way difficult to grasp , story and a stronger backround cast. Also far more replay value IMO |

| It's probably cause I haven't finished RE4, but I preferred RE5 by a long shot. I like Leon as much as anyone else (maybe not) but Chris is the better character, in my opinion.
How can you not understand the storyline of RE5? It's was so simple. |

| This a hard one, especially cause I'd wanna make a thread for RE4 & 5, and going over which one was, a better Resident Evil.
But, I gotta go with 4, sure you lacked a lot of the overall "Resident Evil" story, its meant to be like that, added it still had quite a few horror elements. |

RE4 had more of a horror feel to it, that is eery horror, which seems like it was going to be in RE5, until they made all of the changes...
Anyway I think RE4 deserves more credit than it gets, I mean it still had an RE story. Times are changing, I mean we can only get stuck in a mansion, a city, or god forbid an island, so many times before it becomes tedious, as it is the same thing every time. RE4 had you in an unfamiliar place looking for some lost person(I think I went over this recently in another post), kind of like Alpha looking for the lost Bravo team in the mansion in Arklay, certainly the similarities cannot be missed._________________ "The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmake"It's sheer perfection...My precious G-Virus", William Birkin, RE2Consumer Recreation Services |

Yeah, and the Novistadors that could camoflauge into the environment, you didn't know where they were. Everyone I have seen play stopped in fear, wondering what was making the loud footsteps at the end of the sewer hall. _________________ "The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmake"It's sheer perfection...My precious G-Virus", William Birkin, RE2Consumer Recreation Services |
